2000 Michael Andretti Signed Race Used Newman Haas Long Beach GP CART IndyCar Gloves
Pair of No Fear Driving Force gloves worn by American IndyCar driver Michael Andretti. The gloves were originally obtained from Andretti Racing Enterprises and were documented to having been used by Andretti, driving for the Newman-Haas Team, during the 2000 Cart IndyCar Series at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.
The white gloves show signs of heavy wear and have black leather protection panels stitched on to the knuckles, index fingers, and thumbs. The knuckle panels have embroidered team sponsorship logos from Big Kmart and Texaco on the left and right gloves respectively. The Velcro fastening straps are also in black leather with embroidered Driving Force logos, and just below on the cuffs Andretti 2000/03 tags have been attached. The palms and inner fingers of the gloves are also covered in protective stitched black leather. There are safety warning labels attached to the cuffs as well.
Michael Andretti has personally signed both gloves but, due to age, the signatures are showing some slight fading.
The gloves come with a full Certificate Of Authenticity.
