1993 Nigel Mansell Signed Race Used Newman Haas Racing IndyCar Helmet & Suit

Beautiful Arai helmet worn by Nigel Mansell in the 1993 CART Championship season helmet. The visor has been signed by Mansell in gold pen.

Mansell, who was at the time the reigning F1 Drivers’ Champion, would also go on to win the CART IndyCar World Series in 1993. He became the first driver to win the CART title in his debut season, making him the only driver to hold both the F1 World Drivers’ Championship and the American open-wheel National Championship simultaneously. In fact, at the season opener at Surfers Paradise, Australia, Mansell became the first “rookie” to take pole position and win in his first race.

The helmet has a manufacturing date of Dec 1992, making it one of the first helmets he would receive for the 1993 season. Helmet came straight from Nigel Mansell's personal collection, the next collection it features in could be your very own collection!
