1985 Niki Lauda Final F1 Season McLaren F1 Helmet

Stunning vintage original Bell XFM-1 helmet of Niki Lauda from his final season in Formula 1. This 1985 McLaren helmet design was beautifully painted and complete with Marlboro for the tobacco races.

The legendary Austrian driver was seriously injured in a well documented crash at the 1976 German Grand Prix, that later inspired the movie “Rush”. He came back to win two more World Championships and is the only driver to date to win titles for both Ferrari and McLaren.

The helmet shows limited use but is 100% original from the time and was obtained from the former Marlboro sponsorship manager John Hogan. With Lauda helmets extremely hard to obtain, this is a rare opportunity to add one to your collection today.
