1978/79 Jerry Weeks USAC Midget Car Race Worn Helmet
Bell helmet worn by USAC Midget and Sprint car driver Jerry Weeks. It would have been used during the late 70’s, a period in which Weeks had numerous wins in the Midget series.
This great vintage white Bell helmet has a hand painted red tear drop, edged in yellow, that surrounds the eye-port and has a ‘hot rod’ flame on its top point. There is also a red band, edged in yellow, running around the bottom as well. Week’s 'JW' initials are painted, on either side of the helmet, in blue and yellow. It has Bell decals applied to the top front and bottom rear, still retains its 1970's USAC tech sticker, and the helmet shows signs of heavy wear & tear.
This helmet was part of the Ron Burton Collection and comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
